Here’s more letters from our students

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I am enjoying your program. I am on Level 1-B.

–Sincerely,
Jeremy M.T.
Houston, TX

Dear Mrs. Cole,

My name is Amy. I was born in Ohio and moved to Texas just this year. I have a dog, Maple. She is a golden retriever. Me and my little sister take piano lessons. I have taken lessons since kindergarten but didn't learn much. Now I m getting better and better every day because my teacher loves your music and teaches it to me every week on Monday. I love your music and I'm being a success at piano. I hope you can write more music!

Sincerely,
– Amy B.
Carrollton, TX

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I love my class. I love piano and you make it great. I can play many songs and make up some other songs, too. When I first learned piano it was fun and it still is. I'm six.

Love,
– Gabby B.
Texas

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I just got my piano book today. I am playing September Morning. My little piano sounds a little bad. My dad is trying to find the piano like I use in piano class. Do you know where I can find a digital piano? Write back to me.

Yours truly,
– K.N.L.
Garland, TX

PS: My mom said I can't have a pet no more! They died.

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I'm Dara, one of your students. I live in Louisiana. I'm nine years old. I really like your music. I'm trying really hard to learn all the songs. Some of them are hard, and some of them are easy. My favorite song is Yellow Daisies. Write back soon.

Bye,
– Dora

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I love playing piano. Ever since I was five years old I wanted to play piano. I love your music. One of my favorites is Katzen Dawgs.  Now I am eight years old and in the third grade. I've enclosed a photo of me.

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I really love the music you write. I am on Level IV-A and I love it! My favorite song is Deadly Ernest Comes to Town. I like the way your technique teaches the proper way to play piano. I wanted to ask you if I could make a few tapes of me playing some of your songs. Of course I would not claim them to be my own. Before each song, my voice would be on the tape saying, "This next pieces is----, and it was written by Mayron Ellis Cole." I just need your permission to do this. For Level V (I'm going to be in it in a month) you should add more songs similar to Deadly Ernest Comes to Town and Chasing the Bandits. Oh, yeah, and more like Wind in the Aspens. Those are my favorite songs. I also like Vagabond's Song by Bela Bartok. The gypsy parts in measures 1,2, and 7,8 are really cool. I wish you would write more fast, mysterious kinds of songs. Thank you for hearing me out.

Sincerely,
– Christina V.
Texas

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I am a 4th grade student. I use your piano method. My teacher is strict but, since the music is not very hard and difficult, it makes it a lot easier. And I love your game boards.

I love the one where you try to get the most "money" (plastic chips). It is fun and easy. My little sister does not take piano so she learns from me and my mom. My mom took so she will sit down with her and do the piano with her. Please make more board games. (See Under The Sea, our newest board game.)  I will soon be moving to Italy. I will still take piano there.

Love,
Allie D.
Alabama

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I have taken piano for almost a year. I have learned a lot. I have enjoyed taking it and will continue.

Sincerely,
Andie J.
Oklahoma

Dear Mrs. Cole,

I love the songs you write. My favorite songs are County Fair, Little Liza Jane, The Shadow Birds, Seesaw, Margery Daw, The Wandering Gypsy, The Viking, March of the Penguins, and Bingo. I memorized Bingo. Can you keep on writing music? If you can, I'm staying in my piano class. I just love your music. Thank you for writing such wonderful music.

— Bonnie W.

Dear Mrs. Cole,

My name is Rachel and I am in the 2nd grade. I have just finished pre-level 1 and I am excited to start a new book. This is my first year of piano lessons. I like piano lessons and I have a great teacher and I have great friends. I have a dog. Do you have a pet?
